After I incorporate a company, which documents and codes will I receive from Companies House and HMRC and how will I receive them?
Within a few hours of your company being successfully incorporated by Companies House, we will email you your certificate of incorporation, memorandum, articles of association, statement of proposed officers, statement of share capital, initial shareholdings register, statement of initial persons of significant control and statement of compliance.
Approximately 14 to 21 days after your company is incorporated you will also be sent your Companies House web filing code and HMRC Unique Tax Reference Number (UTR) and also your Corporation Tax activation number. These will be posted by Companies House and HMRC to your company’s registered address. If you are using your own registered address you need to ensure that you have access to your letters at that address. If you are using our address as your registered company address you need to ensure that you have the correct mail handling package in place to retrieve your letters in accordance with your requirements.
Can I set up a company on behalf of someone else?
Yes, you can set up and administer a company and virtual office account with us on behalf of a friend, relative, associate or business client. At checkout you will need to add yourself as an authorised account handler.
Is the Companies House fee a one time fee and how do I renew my company every year and keep it compliant?
Yes, the Companies House fee is a one time fee. 12 months after the company is incorporated (and on every annual anniversary thereafter), you have to file a confirmation statement. We can do this for you.
You also have to file annual accounts and pay Corporation Tax on profits. Corporation Tax bands are staggered depending on the amount of profit that you make, but start from 19%. We can also assist you with filing your annual accounts .
Do I need to visit the UK?
No physical presence in the UK is required.
How long does the process take?
